Bakuchiol Anti-Ageing Oil holds four actives. Bakuchiol at 1% works on firmness, texture and fine lines, with documented stimulation of the skin's own collagen synthesis. Vitamin C, in a stable oil-soluble form, works on tone and radiance and is documented to reduce age spots and UV-induced pigmentation. Q10 helps protect collagen, and astaxanthin adds antioxidant protection on top. Most people see firmer, smoother skin within 4 to 12 weeks of daily use.
It is no accident that they sit in an oil. All four dissolve in oil rather than water. In an oil they stay stable instead of breaking down. The base is a blend of lightweight plant oils: grapeseed, jojoba, avocado, rosehip, blackcurrant seed and evening primrose, which nourish without leaving skin greasy.
Warm a few drops between your hands and press them onto the skin as your final step, or mix them into your moisturiser. Use it morning or evening.
The oil is fragrance-free and suits every skin type, including sensitive. And because bakuchiol is not a retinoid, it needs no building up and carries none of the restrictions retinoids have during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Packaging is the part of the product you throw away. That is why we spend time on it.
At least 50% of the plastic in our bottles and tubes is post-consumer recycled: plastic that has already been used and collected, rather than newly made. The rest is virgin plastic, and we work to bring that share down.
Not everything is plastic. Some products come in glass, others in aluminium that is itself recycled material. Both can be melted down and used again many times over.
Our outer cartons are paper.
How to sort it
Plastic bottles, tubes, pumps and caps: plastic. They do not need to be clean.

Aluminium tubes: metal.
The carton: paper.
We are not there yet. Half of our plastic is still virgin, and that is the half we are working on.

Why it works
Bakuchiol is not a form of vitamin A, but it acts on many of the same pathways in the skin. That is the whole point: comparable results on lines and firmness, without the conversion steps that make retinoids irritating and without the reason they are avoided in pregnancy.
