Dullness Regimen
You slept, you cleansed, and the skin still looks tired in daylight and in photos. It is neither dirt nor lack of sleep. It is a layer of dead cells on the surface scattering light instead of reflecting it, and skin that is short of water underneath. The glow is there. It just cannot get through.
This routine works on both. Expect visibly brighter, smoother skin within the first few weeks. Glycerin Hydra Cleanser cleanses away makeup, sunscreen and sebum without stripping the barrier. A few evenings a week, AHA Exfoliator comes in after cleansing and dissolves the bonds holding those dead cells in place. Ectoin Hydra Serum restores the water content that makes skin look plump rather than flat, and Balancing Complex Moisturiser keeps the skin comfortable through the regular exfoliation.
Three daily essentials and one targeted booster. Every Jorgobé routine is built that way. What changes is which formulas go into it.
Wear SPF 30 or higher during the day, as exfoliated skin is more sensitive to sun.
Bought as a regimen, the four cost 25% less than buying them separately.

MORNING
Glycerin Hydra Cleanser, then Ectoin Hydra Serum, then Balancing Complex Moisturiser. Finish with sunscreen.
EVENING
The same three. On the evenings you use the booster, it goes after the cleanser and before the serum.
BOOSTER
AHA Exfoliator, one to three evenings a week. Apply a thin, even layer to clean, dry skin and leave it on. Do not rinse.
Wear SPF 30 or higher during the day. Exfoliated skin is more sensitive to sun.
What each step does:
Glycerin Hydra Cleanser: cleanses without stripping, on a high glycerin base
Ectoin Hydra Serum: water held in the skin for longer, with less lost through the day
Balancing Complex Moisturiser: calms redness and irritation while it hydrates
AHA Exfoliator: significantly clearer skin after 45 days, against placebo
Based on clinical studies of the individual ingredients at the doses we use. Results vary from person to person.
One active does the work in each step. These are the four.
Glycerin 50%. In the cleanser. At this concentration it is the formula rather than an additive, which is why skin is more hydrated after rinsing than before.
Ectoin. In the serum. Restores the water content that makes skin look plump rather than flat, and protects it while the exfoliation works.
REGU®-SEB Complex. In the moisturiser. Keeps the skin comfortable through regular exfoliation.
Glycolic Acid 10%. In the booster. The smallest AHA molecule, which is why it resurfaces evenly rather than just polishing the top layer.

Materials and recycling
Packaging is the part of the product you throw away. That is why we spend time on it.
At least 50% of the plastic in our bottles and tubes is post-consumer recycled: plastic that has already been used and collected, rather than newly made. The rest is virgin plastic, and we work to bring that share down.
Not everything is plastic. Some products come in glass, others in aluminium that is itself recycled material. Both can be melted down and used again many times over.
Our outer cartons are paper.
How to sort it
Plastic bottles, tubes, pumps and caps: plastic. They do not need to be clean.
Glass bottles: glass.
Aluminium tubes: metal.
The carton: paper.
We are not there yet. Half of our plastic is still virgin, and that is the half we are working on.

Dullness Regimen
The numbered icons on the packaging show the order. The booster carries a + rather than a number, because it does not always come last. Exfoliating boosters go in after cleansing, so they can prepare the surface. Treatment boosters go in after the serum. Each regimen tells you which.

The same three. On the evenings you use the booster, it goes after the cleanser and before the serum.

Why it works
Dullness is a surface problem with a water problem underneath, and these four work on both.
Skin sheds dead cells on its own, but the process slows with age and stalls further in winter. Those cells stay put, scatter light and make everything underneath look flat.
Glycolic acid clears them. But cleared skin still looks flat if it is dehydrated, which is why ectoin does the daily work on water content. Exfoliation for the surface, hydration for what shows through it.

Nice and easy routine. My skin looks more refreshed.
I love this simple skincare routine for daytime. It provides great hydration that lasts all day (I have dry skin), and it gives my skin the most beautiful glow.
They do exactly what they’re supposed to, and I don’t have to spend much time on my routine.
