Redness & Irritation Regimen
When skin reacts to everything, buying skincare becomes a job in itself. Everything promises to be gentle, most of it stings anyway, and every new product is a bet on whether tomorrow will be a good skin day.
This routine is made up of the gentlest formulas we have. No retinol, no fragrance, and four steps that pull in the same direction rather than four different ones. Expect calmer, more comfortable skin within four weeks, and skin that reacts less as the barrier is rebuilt. Glycerin Hydra Cleanser cleanses away makeup, sunscreen and sebum without stripping what is already fragile. Azelaic Acid Serum calms visible redness while it works on blemishes and uneven tone, without the sting of stronger acids. Balancing Complex Moisturiser keeps the skin hydrated and steady, and Centella Serum comes in as the booster after Azelaic Acid Serum. Start with a couple of times a week and build up if the skin takes to it. On the days when the skin has flared, daily use is exactly what it needs.
Three daily essentials and one targeted booster. Every Jorgobé routine is built that way. What changes is which formulas go into it.
None of the products in the routine contains ingredients that are advised against during pregnancy.
Bought as a regimen, the four cost 25% less than buying them separately.
Benefits
Calms visible redness and irritation.
Rebuilds the barrier that lets irritants through.
Makes skin less prone to flare-ups over time.
Works on blemishes and uneven tone at the same time.
Four products chosen to work together rather than compete.
None of the products contains ingredients that are advised against during pregnancy. If in doubt, ask your doctor or midwife.
MORNING
Glycerin Hydra Cleanser, then Azelaic Acid Serum, then Balancing Complex Moisturiser.
EVENING
The same three. On the days you use the booster, it goes after the serum and before the moisturiser.
BOOSTER
Centella Serum, a few times a week, morning or evening. Increase to daily when skin has flared or feels particularly reactive.
Nothing here needs to be phased in. All four are gentle enough to start together, and none of the products in this regimen contains ingredients that are advised against during pregnancy.
What each step does:
Glycerin Hydra Cleanser: cleanses without stripping, on a high glycerin base
Azelaic Acid Serum: 47% smoother skin over four weeks
Balancing Complex Moisturiser: calms redness and irritation while it hydrates
Centella Serum: 30.8% less blood flow in the cheek after six weeks
Based on clinical studies of the individual ingredients at the doses we use. Results vary from person to person.
One active does the work in each step. These are the four.
Glycerin 50%. In the cleanser. At this concentration it is the formula rather than an additive, which is why skin is more hydrated after rinsing than before.
Azelaic Acid 5%. In the serum. Works on redness, blemishes and uneven tone at once, at a strength sensitive skin can handle daily.
REGU®-SEB Complex. In the moisturiser. Saw palmetto, sesame and argan keep the skin steady rather than swinging between dry and reactive.
Centella Asiatica. In the booster. The plant behind cica products, paired with ceramide NP to rebuild the barrier that let the irritation through.

Materials and recycling
Packaging is the part of the product you throw away. That is why we spend time on it.
At least 50% of the plastic in our bottles and tubes is post-consumer recycled: plastic that has already been used and collected, rather than newly made. The rest is virgin plastic, and we work to bring that share down.
Not everything is plastic. Some products come in glass, others in aluminium that is itself recycled material. Both can be melted down and used again many times over.
Our outer cartons are paper.
How to sort it
Plastic bottles, tubes, pumps and caps: plastic. They do not need to be clean.
Glass bottles: glass.
Aluminium tubes: metal.
The carton: paper.
We are not there yet. Half of our plastic is still virgin, and that is the half we are working on.

Redness & Irritation Regimen
The numbered icons on the packaging show the order. The booster carries a + rather than a number, because it does not always come last. Exfoliating boosters go in after cleansing, so they can prepare the surface. Treatment boosters go in after the serum. Each regimen tells you which.

Why it works
Four products chosen for skin that reacts, and gentle enough that all four can be started on the same day.
Reactive skin is rarely oversensitive by nature. It is skin with a barrier that no longer keeps irritants out, so ordinary things get through and set off a response. Calming the reaction helps today. Rebuilding the barrier is what stops it happening again.
These four work on both ends of that. Centella asiatica settles what is flaring now, azelaic acid handles redness and blemishes without irritating, and the cleanser and moisturiser are chosen specifically not to undo that work. Nothing needs phasing in, which matters when your skin has reacted badly to everything else.
