Vitamin C Serum
Most people who give up on vitamin C do so because it stung, went orange in the bottle, or both. Pure L-ascorbic acid is powerful, but it is also unstable and hard on the skin.
This one uses 5% 3-O-ethyl ascorbic acid instead: a stable derivative that stays active in the bottle and works at a pH the skin is comfortable with. You get the brightening without the sting.
It works on dullness, uneven tone and the dark marks left behind by old blemishes, and it softens the look of fine lines as it goes. Most people see brighter, more even skin within four weeks. Microalgae collagen and hyaluronic acid keep the skin smooth and hydrated, while panthenol soothes and vitamin E adds antioxidant protection.
The gel-cream texture absorbs quickly and layers easily under sunscreen. Use it morning and evening.
Suitable for all skin types and contains no ingredients that are advised against during pregnancy. Finish with SPF during the day, both to protect the results and because pigmentation returns without it.

Packaging is the part of the product you throw away. That is why we spend time on it.
At least 50% of the plastic in our bottles and tubes is post-consumer recycled: plastic that has already been used and collected, rather than newly made. The rest is virgin plastic, and we work to bring that share down.
Not everything is plastic. Some products come in glass, others in aluminium that is itself recycled material. Both can be melted down and used again many times over.
Our outer cartons are paper.
How to sort it
Plastic bottles, tubes, pumps and caps: plastic. They do not need to be clean.
Glass bottles: glass.
Aluminium tubes: metal.
The carton: paper.
We are not there yet. Half of our plastic is still virgin, and that is the half we are working on.

Why it works
Vitamin C has a reputation problem. Pure L-ascorbic acid works, but it needs a low pH that many people cannot tolerate, and it oxidises into something useless within weeks of opening. That orange bottle at the back of the cabinet is doing nothing.
