Hands take more than the face does. Soap, water, cold air, hand sanitiser, and none of the care the face gets. They are also where age shows first, because the skin there is thin and the sun never stops.
Hand creams fail in one of two ways. Either they are so light that your hands are dry again an hour later, or they are rich enough to work and you cannot touch anything for the next 10 minutes.
Niacinamide Hand Balm lands in between, and it works on the skin rather than just coating it. Expect softer hands from the first day and smoother, more even skin on the backs of the hands within three to four weeks. 5% niacinamide works on uneven tone and the dark spots that build up there, while 20% shea butter, hyaluronic acid and glycerin work on the dryness underneath.
Panthenol, one of the best documented soothing ingredients in skincare, and allantoin calm redness and roughness, and jojoba esters and hydrogenated olive oil give the richness without the film, so hands stay soft instead of going tight again after 20 minutes.
The balm carries our signature scent, light and warm, the same one you find in White Tea Moisturiser. Massage it in around the nails and knuckles where dryness sits worst, and reapply through the day, particularly after washing your hands. A thicker layer in the evening, when the skin recovers.
Suitable for all skin types and contains no ingredients that are advised against during pregnancy.

Packaging is the part of the product you throw away. That is why we spend time on it.
At least 50% of the plastic in our bottles and tubes is post-consumer recycled: plastic that has already been used and collected, rather than newly made. The rest is virgin plastic, and we work to bring that share down.
Not everything is plastic. Some products come in glass, others in aluminium that is itself recycled material. Both can be melted down and used again many times over.
Our outer cartons are paper.
How to sort it
Plastic bottles, tubes, pumps and caps: plastic. They do not need to be clean.
Glass bottles: glass.
Aluminium tubes: metal.
The carton: paper.
We are not there yet. Half of our plastic is still virgin, and that is the half we are working on.
