Centella Serum
Some skin reacts to everything. A new product, a cold walk home, a stressful week, and it flushes, stings and feels tight for days afterwards.
Centella Serum is the reset for that skin. Centella asiatica, the plant behind the cica products dermatologists keep recommending, calms visible irritation and redness. A tripeptide and ceramide NP rebuild the barrier underneath, which is the reason the skin was reacting in the first place.
Panthenol, allantoin and Poria Cocos mushroom extract keep everything comfortable, and squalane and hyaluronic acid hold moisture without any weight.
The gel-cream texture absorbs completely and leaves no residue. Most people see calmer skin within four weeks. Use it a few evenings a week, and daily when your skin needs the extra support.
Suitable for all skin types, including reactive and rosacea-prone, and contains no ingredients that are advised against during pregnancy.

Materials and recycling
Packaging is the part of the product you throw away. That is why we spend time on it.
At least 50% of the plastic in our bottles and tubes is post-consumer recycled: plastic that has already been used and collected, rather than newly made. The rest is virgin plastic, and we work to bring that share down.
Not everything is plastic. Some products come in glass, others in aluminium that is itself recycled material. Both can be melted down and used again many times over.
Our outer cartons are paper.
How to sort it
Plastic bottles, tubes, pumps and caps: plastic. They do not need to be clean.
Glass bottles: glass.
Aluminium tubes: metal.
The carton: paper.
We are not there yet. Half of our plastic is still virgin, and that is the half we are working on.

Why it works
Reactive skin is usually not oversensitive by nature. It is skin with a barrier that no longer keeps irritants out, so things that should be harmless get through and set off a response.
This serum works on both ends. Centella asiatica and panthenol, one of the best documented soothing ingredients in skincare, calm the reaction you can see right now, while ceramide NP and a tripeptide rebuild the barrier that let it happen. That is why it is worth using between flare-ups too, not only during them.

Lovely serum that quickly soothed my skin. It feels light, absorbs well, and leaves my skin calm and comfortable. A really nice addition to my routine.
It calms redness almost instantly and feels so lightweight.
My absolute favorite serum. I can’t recommend it enough
Really lovely texture! It creates a glowing layer on my skin and immediately soothed my itchy and irritated skin.
Also known as cica. Rich in antioxidants and amino acids, it calms visible irritation and redness and supports collagen production. It is mild enough for skin that reacts to most things, which is why it suits redness and irritation.
Short chains of amino acids that ask the skin to do more of what it already does. They stimulate collagen and the other components that hold the structure together, which improves firmness, elasticity and texture, and makes fine lines look shallower.
Tripeptides also calm irritation. In a lash serum they promote keratin production in the follicle, which is what a stronger, longer lash depends on.
Lipids the skin makes itself, and part of what holds the barrier together. They seal water in and keep the outside out. When the barrier runs short of them, water leaves faster than a cream can put it back.
